Job Description
We are looking for an experienced afterschool teacher to work from 2PM to 6PM (M, T, TH & F) and 1PM to 6PM on Wednesdays. Must have DCF 45 hours completed and CPR/First Aid. CDA not required, but appreciated.
Duties include:
Supervise and engage students in educational and enrichment activities in a safe environment.
Working collaboratively with the co-teacher in the classroom
Assist with homework
Daily cleaning/ tidying of the classroom
Assisting with snack time
Assisting with lesson planning
Activity planning
Update parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior and daily activities at pick-up
Lifting or moving equipment such as cots, tables, chairs and cubbies
